This strategic move underscores the University\u2019s commitment to advancing policy development and fostering innovative practices that respond to pressing societal challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly constituted institute will serve as a hub for research, leadership, and innovation, engaging both the academic community and external stakeholders in addressing governance, human rights, sustainability, and social development issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MSU Buug Constitutes Institute for Policy and Innovation Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay \u2014 2024.<\/strong> Mindanao State University\u2013Buug (MSU-Buug) has formally established the <strong>Institute for Policy and Innovation Leadership<\/strong> through Special Order No. 289-OC, Series of 2024. This strategic move underscores the University\u2019s commitment to advancing policy development and fostering innovative practices that respond to pressing societal challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly constituted institute will serve as a hub for research, leadership, and innovation, engaging both the academic community and external stakeholders in addressing governance, human rights, sustainability, and social development issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leadership structure of the Institute is composed of the following appointees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Asst. Prof. Mark Anthony A. Dalumpines<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Assistant Director, Policy Center for Governance, Public Leadership and Management<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Bryan L. Bitantos<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Assistant Director, Policy Center for Human Rights and Sustainable Development<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Asst. Prof. Mary Anne M. Polestina<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Assistant Director, Social Lab Unit<\/em><em><br><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the University, the creation of the Institute is a critical step in strengthening MSU-Buug\u2019s role as a catalyst for evidence-based policy-making and socially relevant innovation.
