The new ramps and pathways address mobility concerns, particularly for individuals using wheelchairs, crutches, or other mobility aids, while also benefiting senior citizens and students carrying heavy loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These infrastructure upgrades were installed in key facilities, including the <strong>College of Education<\/strong>, to provide easier access to classrooms, offices, and common spaces. With this development, MSU-Buug strengthens its compliance with national accessibility standards and reinforces its broader advocacy under the <strong>Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) Policy<\/strong> adopted in the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>University officials highlighted that this move goes beyond infrastructure\u2014it is a statement of MSU-Buug\u2019s commitment to equity and inclusivity. \u201cBy ensuring barrier-free access to education, we affirm our mission as a people\u2019s university where no one is left behind,\u201d the administration emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project forms part of MSU-Buug\u2019s long-term vision to create a more inclusive, student-centered campus, resonating with both local development goals and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly <strong>SDG 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong> and <strong>SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay \u2014 2024.
