Its creation underscores MSU-Buug\u2019s dedication to maintaining a learning and working environment free from violence, discrimination, and prejudice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sheila G. Magolama emphasized that activating the CODI through EDI strengthens the University\u2019s resolve to uphold the dignity of every student, faculty member, and staff, ensuring that MSU-Buug remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Composition and Role of CODI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee is composed of representatives from the <strong>school administration, faculty, student body, administrative staff, health services, security office, GAD Focal Point System, Office of Student Affairs and Services, Office of Guidance and Counseling, and Human Resource Management Office<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MSU-Buug CODI Manual<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This inclusive membership guarantees equitable representation, with women and diverse gender identities forming a strong presence in leadership roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CODI is mandated to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Receive and investigate complaints of GBSH and related offenses;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Ensure confidentiality and protection from retaliation for complainants;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Submit findings and recommendations to the Chancellor for appropriate action;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf Lead gender-sensitivity campaigns and orientations to promote awareness and prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Safeguarding the MSU-Buug Community<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this initiative, MSU-Buug integrates <strong>anti-harassment protocols, safe reporting<\/strong> <strong>mechanisms, and support systems<\/strong> such as counseling, legal assistance, and psychosocial services.
