The Student Assistantship Program of Mindanao State University – Buug is a support initiative for indigent and low-income college students. It provides them with an opportunity to earn a ₱1,000 monthly stipend through rendering 2 hours of service per school day or a total of 10 hours per week in designated university offices. More than financial aid, the program helps student assistants develop workplace skills, foster discipline, and instill the value of service while easing the financial challenges of pursuing higher education.
