Development of Web-Based Thesis and Capstone Archive System

Abstract: Managing and preserving student-generated knowledge presents significant challenges for academic institutions such as Mindanao State University Buug- Campus. The Web-Based Thesis and Capstone Archive System aims to overcome these challenges by providing a centralized digital platform for storing, managing, and accessing academic thesis and Capstone projects. This system enhances search efficiency, improves organization, and saves time by replacing the manual, error-prone process of handling physical documents. Additionally, the project explores integrating digital archives with existing academic repositories to facilitate knowledge exchange. By addressing technological and user adoption challenges, the system seeks to optimize performance, protect intellectual output, and support future research efforts at Mindanao State University Buug- Campus. Ultimately, this initiative aims to establish a reliable and comprehensive resource for researchers, both current and future, thereby enriching the academic environment.
